February 2012 Membership Dinner Meeting

On October 4th, 2002, 27 year‐old Eric Giguere, a sewer crew laborer, almost lost his life in a trench collapse accident. After recovering from being buried alive in the accident, Eric decided that his new life mission would be to prevent anyone else from falling prey to construction safety "carelessness." He decided to become a safety advocate with a clear message: "A casual approach to safe digging can cause horrible consequences."
